Austin Welch – editor

As a hardcore TransFan since January of 1984, I have been active in the fan community ever since, having weathered the early-90s pen-pal clubs The TransMasters and its spinoff The Survivors.  I’ve attended most installments of BotCon, produced my own fanfic comic, and have been building working Transformers out of Lego years before the webrings surrounding such efforts sprung up, seemingly overnight.  I have interviewed quite a few members of the G1 creative talent pool (voice actors, comic writers/artists, etc) over the last eight years, and I continue to develop relationships with these sorts of folks, which will benefit you, the reader.  By the way, if you ever have news or tips for us to report on, or fan submissions you’d like to see us post, please do not hesitate to contact me.  I hope to build Geewunner into a force to be reckoned with.  Thanks for visting!

For those that don’t know me..I’m a nerdy girl that happened to grow up in the eighties. Having fond memories of dropping countless quarters in the arcade machines at the roller rink every Friday night. Memories of seeing Back to the Future, Gremlins, RoboCop and so many other great movies for the first time on opening weekends in the eighties. Some of my favorite cartoons and Toy lines are: Transformers (My favorite of all the toy lines and cartoons, I’m a huge G1 fan), ThunderCats, G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K, Jem and the Holograms,Jayce and the Wheel Warriors, He-Man, She-Ra, Silver Hawks and Robotech.  Check out my own site at Screamers Retro Flashbacks!
